Waiters
Two (2) waiters will be available for your function until 24:00 Fridays or Saturday’s or 21:00 weekdays. Waiters are responsible for drink orders. Extra waiters can be hired at a cost of R220 per waiter.
*Extra waiters will be responsible for cleaning of tables and bar orders, we recommend 1 waiter per 20 guests.
Cash Bar – No credit card facilities
We are a licensed business and can therefore supply / provide all your requirements in respect of bar services. A corkage fee of R1800 is payable if you don’t want to use our bar. No other alcohol or cold drinks will be allowed on the premises. Please enquire at Zakopane for choice of wine and champagne and the price there of.
One (1) barman is available for the duration of your wedding. An extra barman is recommended should there be more than 80 guests. Cost of extra barman is R470.00
DJ
Dj is not included. Own DJ must please abide by the rules of Zakopane.
- No loud music or base- Managers discretion. Please ensure that the DJ is aware of this.
- The Manager on duty at Zakopane Country Village will use own discretion to control of the music at the venue and the DJ must be informed of this and control the music not to exceed 85 decibels.
- Music must be turned off strictly at 24:00 on Fridays and Saturday’s or 21:00 on weekday.
Generator
A generator is available during loadshedding at a cost of R250-00 p/h. Prices subject to change without notice.

Viewing of the venue
You are welcome to view Zakopane on Monday to Thursday from 08:00 – 16:00 and Sunday 10:00 – 14:00.
Please note that the venue is closed for viewing on Fridays and Saturdays. This is an open plan venue. You don’t need an appointment if you just want to view the venue.
Deposit
Once the date has been discussed this will remain valid for seven (7) days. A deposit of R3000-00 is required to secure this reservation. This deposit is not refunded in case of cancelation. Should there be any damages or candle wax on tablecloths, the deposit will be assessed and refunded accordingly. Payments / refunds will be made fourteen (14) days after the function. If you are interested holding your wedding at Zakopane, please pay the deposit within seven (7) days.
Payment
50% of the amount of quotation must be paid 2 months (60 days) before your function takes place and 100% of the total amount owing must be paid two weeks (14 days) before your function. Zakopane management reserves the right to cancel your function should these funds not be received.
Accommodation
- The overnight rooms and family units are only available from 13:00 on the day of your wedding until 9:00 the next morning. No exceptions will be made. Room keys can only be collected until 15:30. Arrangements must be made if needed later than 16:30.
- The 13 rooms inside the venue must first be filled before we will open the lodge and rondawel for booking.
- Accommodation at our “lodge” is booked on a ‘first come first serve bases.
- A 100% payment is required within 7 days of making the booking – no keys will be given to any guests where payment has not been received before the time. A admin fee of R150 will be deducted in case of a room cancellation.
- Zakopane is not a holiday resort and does not offer any activities.
- Buffet breakfast will be served at 8:00 – please arrive promptly.
- The host will be held responsible for any breakages or damages that may occur in any of the rooms. We will inform the host of the room number and information regarding any damages so that you may recover these costs from the person responsible.
R370 p/p sharing, breakfast included. Accommodation prices is subject to change.
